Today, I’m taking a few pieces from my winter wardrobe and turning them into the perfect spring transition look! The best part is this sweater and these Billie Booties are on major sale right now. Both are such classic pieces that you will definitely wear them for season’s to come so why pay full price for them?! Now is the time to stock up on some of these staples because all of those winter pieces are on sale! Let’s also be honest, nothing is cuter than a sweater or sweatshirt with a pair of distressed shorts and some booties in the Spring and early Summer!
When I think of Spring, I automatically think brighter colors, so I thought that pairing two monochromatic pieces would be the perfect spring transition look. I took this ivory cable knit sweater, which I’ve worn several times over the winter months and paired it with (what are new, white maternity jeans). Everyone has a pair of white denim though and if you don’t, it’s time to invest in a pair! The regular Asos version is only $38 and I have to say I’m quite impressed with Asos jeans. You guys know ever since I worked at Nordstrom, I’m hooked on premium denim, but with Baby P on the way I don’t want to spend that much on several pairs of jeans. I did, however, splurge on one pair of AG jeans.
Urban Outfitters Cable Knit Sweater (on Major sale! $19!!!) Comes in two other colors! // Asos Maternity Jeans ($38!) // Asos Regular Version ($38!)// Madewell Billie Bootie (Major Sale!) // Hat (sale!!) // Chloe Bag (Same Look for Less!)
It was actually a super dreary day the day we took pictures, but just being in this brighter look makes it feel more like Spring! Trust me when I say between the cable knit, the white denim, and these booties, you will get your money’s worth! There are so many ways you can wear these pieces in all seasons! Of course, you really can do this with any sweater you own- I think adding white denim to a winter shirt makes the look feel more like Spring!
Any plans this weekend? We are catching up on some housework and I’ve already started doing a little shopping for Baby P! I am so looking forward to decorating the nursery! I cannot wait !
